Fall protection is by and large the most common jobsite violation area, probably because it is such a common aspect of many worksites. Everything from lifts and booms to scaffolding have some type of fall protection concern. Four out of the top ten construction standards cited by OSHA dealt with fall protection.
Eye and Face Protection
Nearly every job on a construction site requires some type of eye and face protection. Knowing what to use and when to use it can be difficult, but this can be counteracted with the proper training and company policies. Eye injuries are frighteningly common, but can be avoid by the use of safety goggles.
