Safety is not just a goal for G&M Services, it is a requirement. From the continuous training of our employees to our membership in The National Safety Council, safety is part of everything we do. We are a member of the Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association (CDSA) and the Firestop Contractors International Association (FCIA), organizations which advance the safe practice of our core industries. In addition, we are an FM4991 Approved Contractor through FM Global.

Our Staff Safety Training and Incentives
The people of G&M Services are our most important asset, and we encourage their professional development through ongoing education and safety training. Some of our training programs include:
- Weekly Toolbox Talks to share safety tips regarding practices and equipment
- Monthly safety meetings
- 10-hour OSHA course
- 30-hour OSHA course for supervisors.
- Training in safe work methods and safe practices
- Accident prevention training, which includes visually scanning the field for potential hazards and fall protection
- Training on scissor lift and various other equipment
- Driver safety classes
Our policies and procedures to promote safety include:
- Employee incentives for good safety records – employees receive bonuses for good safety records on a quarterly and yearly basis
- Written policies for employees to follow regarding safety and incident reporting
- Drug testing policy includes pre-employment screening, random drug testing, and injury related drug testing
- Navtrak systems on all vehicles to make sure employees are driving safe
