Tripping hazards are something you should avoid at all costs. Preventative maintenance is your best defense against slips, trips, and falls in outdoor settings.
Look Around for Puddles
Puddles may seem harmless, but they are also the enemy. Acid rain and pollution are much more damaging than they might appear to the naked eye. Erosion can weaken the foundations of the building. No matter how hard your workers labored to cut through concrete and grind it down or drill to find out what was embedded in the core, all of that can be in vain if moisture damage is too extensive. If the foundations shift, there will be even more damage to the structure. Cracks in the walls and ceilings indicate the presence of standing water in the foundations.
